Sunburn Cures

Homemade Options
Vegetable water. Do you know vegetables are not just good for your health, they're good for your sunburns too? Start by boiling lettuce in water and then strain. Put the liquid in the fridge. Let it cool for a few hours before applying directly onto your skin, with the use of cotton balls.
Milk. Dip gauze into milk. Then, apply onto your skin. Take note that the milk you use should not be refrigerator-cold. It should be roughly room temperature or just a little bit cooler.
Vinegar. Soak a clean towel in a half vinegar, half water solution. Wring the towel before applying onto the affected area. Be sure to avoid the eye area as well as broken skin.
Oatmeal. If you cannot stand the smell of milk or vinegar, do not try both as sunburn cures. Use oatmeal instead. Wrap dry oatmeal in cheesecloth or gauze. Then, run cool water through the cloth or gauze. Wring out excess water before applying the cloth or gauze onto your skin for 20 minutes. Repeat the application every two to four hours.
